Angelina van Blijswijk

Angelina van Blijswijk brings a strong academic foundation and global perspective to her role as International Relations Manager at IFD. In her position, Angelina leads the identification and engagement of potential university partners, oversees admissions coordination, and organizes academic visits and strategic events. She ensures seamless communication between institutions, guiding universities through market entry and program development, and tailoring partnership models to align with each institution’s goals and regional strategies.

Holding a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Salzburg, with a focus on international relations and comparative politics, she plays a pivotal role in fostering sustainable academic collaborations between Europe and the Middle East.

Before joining IFD, Angelina gained significant experience in external and public affairs, serving as a trusted advisor in regulatory and governmental relations. Her expertise spans stakeholder management, policy engagement, and public communications — including collaboration with ministries, parliamentarians, and industry representatives. She has also managed public affairs consultants, coordinated advocacy campaigns, and represented organizations at high-level industry events.

Combining diplomatic acumen with strategic insight, Angelina bridges academic, governmental, and corporate spheres — strengthening IFD’s mission to advance international education and institutional cooperation.
